TV LAND AND ZETOOLS, INC. WINS EMMY FOR
"OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN INTERACTIVE TELEVISION" AT THE 2005 PRIMETIME CREATIVE ARTS EMMY AWARDS FOR THEIR WORK ON THE "2005 TV LAND AWARDS: ALL ACCESS PASS" LOS ANGELES, CA, September 12, 2005 - TV Land Online and Zetools, Inc. were awarded an Emmy for their All Access Pass interactive television application and software solutions enhancing the third annual TV Land Awards: A Celebration of Classic TV. The award, given by The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS), was presented last evening at the Primetime Creative Arts and Interactive Television Awards ceremony, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The All Access Pass interactive television application for the 2005 TV Land Awards allowed viewers to witness the show as a "two-screen" television experience. Viewers could navigate the virtual Awards Show online theater during the telecast and access 103 minutes of video moments from backstage, rehearsal and the red carpet that were not available to viewers watching the broadcast alone. Trivia, games, and a chat interface were also part of the experience. "We are thrilled to be recognized by ATAS for our work on the 2005 TV Land Awards: All Access Pass," states Michael Gaylord, Vice President, Online, TV Land and Nick at Nite. "It's wonderful that TV Land, which has built its brand on classic television, is being honored for achievement in high technology. Our partnership with Zetools allowed us to share our creative vision with millions of web users making it all the more rewarding." "Partnering with TV Land, Zetools software and professional services allowed our customer to meet the expectations of their consumers for a new and exciting television experience" said Robert Flynn, CEO, Zetools, Inc. "Eliminating the technical roadblocks of delivering advanced media cross platform and cross format is what Zetools is all about."
