Default Verdine White & Nick Ashford

Verdine is Maurice White's brother of Earth Wind & Fire. Verdine is also in the group & he plays guitar. I think he plays bass guitar. Why does he have long hair? He looks like a woman LOL. I saw a picture of him recently at Ronald Isley's wedding & if he didn't have a mustache, i would think he's a woman LOL. Nick Ashford of Ashford & Simpson has always had long hair too. He looks like a woman LOL. Ya'll see him in New Jack City movie when he was a preacher? He was preaching at his daughter's wedding in the movie & Keith Sweat sang at the wedding. Nick was at Luther Vandross's funeral.

Yes they do LOL. Ashford & Simpson have been married for a long time. How long have they been together? Valerie Simpson is a attractive woman. I wonder what she sees in Nick LOL. I saw Philip Bailey at Ronald Isley's wedding recently too. He's gotten fat in the face. LadyBee did you know Ronald married a 28 year old woman? LOL. He can't find nobody his age? LOL. He's 63.

Nick and Val have been married since '73 or '74.

I didn't know Ronald had been divorced from Angela Winbush until he had that stroke. So, no I didn't know he married some young thang. I wonder what happened between he and Angela. Was she too old for him? She's in her forties but she still looks good. I'm willing to be she looks better than his young bride.

They DO look alike! And isiah, you are a trip! That long hair got to go, though. for one, I always thought Verdine was gay, but he's married and he does play the bass guitar.

Verdine's hair looks a little weavish to me. But since he's so fun to watch on stage, I'll give him a pass.

Nick Ashford on the other hand, he gives off this "Jesus Glow" I can't quite explain.

I seem to recall a movie where Nick Ashford played some sort of vampire. Am I right? I have that vision in my head and I remember saying to myself, "He doesn't look any different than he normally does." hmmmmm.....LOL

LOL. Nick does look like he could've rocked the vampire look. According to imdb, he never appeared in any vampire flick.

The following is a partial review regarding a movie:

This film even has the requisite cheesiness required of a great blaxploitation flick. Among the howlers: post-production additions of ferocious growls to a faux guard dog that is plainly wagging its tail and trying to lick everyone in sight. The neo-soul score is incongruously upbeat. Nick Ashford of the famed Ashford and Simpson duet appears as the title character Fire's mentor. If that weren't funny enough, Ashford looks exactly like Eddie Murphy in Vampire in Brooklyn. Robert Klein, who reputedly said something funny once or twice during the Seventies, has a needless role added only to boost the film's faded star power.

This is what it is I was thinking about. Nick Ashford had resembled Eddie Murphy who actually played a vampire. So I was a little bit right, LOL. I do remember seeing Nick looking like a vampire. I'm not familiar with this movie though, I must have seen a clip of him in that movie.

That's exactly what I thought you meant, but I didn't want to put words in your mouth.
I must admit, the resemblence is uncanny.

OMG, how can I forget? I can't explain how dude got his hair to cooperate with aerodynamics. I can't. Wasn't his hair shaped like a spade found on a deck of cards? And black hair care products tended to weigh the hair down back then. So, for the life of me, I can't explain how his 'do defied the laws of gravity.

How many ways did that Taco Bell commercial suck?

1. The hair
2. The acting
3. The outfits
4. The premise: Three dudes in parachute pants dancing while floating in air just to grab one taco!?
5. The bad rap that accompanied the ad
