Its done hit us hard in GA.as of today we are fighting over gas..they said we will have no more until 2 to 3 weeks.im sure there are more places but think about not being able to go to get food and things for our children, not able to work.its so bad were i live the police is at the stores and only leting us get 20.00 worh of gas,its 3.50 a gallon.that wil get me through 3 days.were i go to school me and my class mates decided we were sending a bunch of stuff over there to help the people out that needs stuff.i hope others will send something.anything will help if an,t nothing but 1 canD of food..but wolf trading dosen't have nothing to do with what happen.think about it this way the people that can't go no were or got family over there, the movies they get might help them out by taking there minds off of it.as long as u do your part thats all that counts, because im doing mine and hope others will do.please pray for them all,and keep them in your thoughts,GOD BLESS ALL.

Default ok ... i'm crying too

i'm crying laughing ... not about the situation in neworleans, but your behavior.

come on man ,... if you can help out in New Orleans ... let REDCROSS know you can suit up and boot up ,.. and help out ... they will except your loving help ....

But Wolf ,.. you are in a trading forum , talking down to people about ,..... TRADING !!!! HELLO !! ???

we feel bad about folks in New Orleans ,... parts of FLORIDA ,... and the other states you have not mentioned .... that's why we pay taxes ,... so the government can do their job.

yell and cry to president bush ,.. for sending so many troops over to iraq , that now there is very little national gaurd to send in to help .

and if you do not live in New Orleans ,... please give folks what you owe them ,.. if you have any open trades ,... don't use another mans catastrophy to not send your portion of trades out ,... but i'm sure you are not doing that ,.. cause that would be slime low of anyone to do ,... rather i do believe you are sincere ... just lay off of folks here about trading .... that's not your busineess to oversee and judge people.

my 3 cents.

Oh No

As a victim of the flood of 1997, having lost almost everything, except my salvation, I can feel for those now affected.

However, on any given day, people are starving, being hit by storms, etc., albeit even dying. Yes, we should be saddened by these circumstances, but if we put everything on hold every time an incident like this occurred, we would never trade.

Be understanding of the folks affected by the storms, but putting everything on hold every time a situation like this occurs is altogether unrealistic.

I'm puzzled as to why you're taking the time to read the board, let alone post on a trading site.

Yes, it's true what's happened in La. and in parts of our wonderful land is a true natural disaster and a real catastrophe. To stopt trading or stop living isn't the answer either.

Back in 1941 when Pearl Harbor was bombed and World War 2 began there were those who said professional sports should shut down, no more enjoyment for those who followed the game. Cooler heads prevailed and it was decided we could not shut down living but to make the best we could in time of grief. We could still cry and grieve for the suffering but also should try to forget some of the misery with things that made us smile. Because of what's occurred the answer is not to sit despondent and cry but to do what we can to help but also try to have moments of peace. If some find solace and relaxation in trading so be it and God Bless them but I'm sure everyone feels for the folks who lost so much.

I live no more then 30 minutes away from the 911 bombing and knew 3 who lost their lives plus had friends who lost 10 more. My daughter, who at the time worked 5 blocks away, left trade center 1 at 8:30 a.m.(her train was in that building) and the first plane struck at 8:40. By the grace of God I have her and the daughter she eventually had. She saw many hurling themselves from windows 90 stories up and the image is still with her. Those in N.Y. mourned our losses as the rest of the world did, vowed to get the culprits responsible but went on with our lives.

Thumbs down

Well said Loren and Lilhave.

On the side, being of a suspicious nature, I checked out Loren's claims about Wolf11. Sure enough, he was right. Let's call a spade a spade and move on:

Well as much as I hate to step in, Wolf I have emailed you privately about this.

As much as I empathize with the situation, and tragedies are terrible whereever they fall upon us in our nation, this site is dedicated to trading, and traders.

There is a chit caht section, that this line of posting is more appropriate to.

Should you wish to not trade during the time of need by people, I respect that, and should you wish to discuss it here, that is welcome as well.
But please limit your personal views to the chit chat area of the board, and leave this for traders, and trading related posts.

I think you will find people a little more receptive to your opinions nad views over there.
But please understand, that some peopel trade specifically to distract themselves, while others may help in other ways-
Trading is a decision people make on an individual level, and I feel that although your sympathy is respectful- you may be insulting people unintentionally, by your statements.

Wolf- this has gone way too far.
Your comments have gone from empathatic, to insulting to downright threatening. And it will not be tolerated.
This board was created for those who had common interest, to trade in a comfortbale safe environment.
Your posts have done nothing but aggitate, and insult users for no reaosn other than disagreeing with you.
And the last post is a threat, pure and simple
I am advising you to cease posting, take a long break and analyzing your own thoughts and emotions before confronting others and attacking them online or in life.

Your posts have been reported to me as well as the other moderators, and I for one am requesting consequences be taken.
