I have a question on the subject - I have a complete set of Lost that I recorded off-air, with extras like interviews and such (complete with split screen credits, grrrr). Because the series is being released commercially, is that set that I made untradable on this board?

I wouldn't think it violates the rules - it's not like they're dvd rips. They are your creations.
