Now that we're having a battle of the bands' albums, here's one fer ya:

Paranoid by Black Sabbath vs. Machine Head by Deep Purple. Two classic early metal albums, in fact the albums that would define metal in the years to come. Both albums featured a number of songs that would become staples that every budding young guitar player would labor to learn. Both albums featured a number of classic rock anthems. Black Sabbath would introduce "War Pigs", "Paranoid", "Iron Man", "Electric Funeral", and "Fairies Wear Boots" on their second album. Deep Purple would introduce
"Highway Star", "Smoke On the Water", "Lazy", and "Space Truckin'" on Machine Head.

Which one was the better of the two?
