Question Handcuffing Position

If one of you was a police officer, how would you have a subject position his/her hands for
handcuffing?

if they were handcuffed in front they'd have too much control.

Webwarrior, this is a dumb question! What's up with you and these obsession with the cops? You should be a police officer.

My Father was a Police Officer and he always felt that cuffing a person with thier hands behind them was the best way.

As Sarah pointed out, a suspect could still use his hands/arms if they were cuffed in front of his body.

and if you handcuff them behind the head or neck it would get in the way when you beat them with your night-stick OR they might be able to try and protect their head and face

Wink

After a solid beat-down, I like to cuff 'em behind the back, and be verrrry careful that they don't hit their head while sitting down in the back of the squad car.
