Default HELP! I'm getting older!

Now the realization has hit me in the gut...

I am now the same age Shirley Jones was when the show started!!!
Which means Laurie Partridge is young enough to be my daughter now.

At my age, there's no-one available anymore.

I'm giggling, because you're still young. Shirley was in her mid-30s when she did the show, if my math (and imdb.com) is correct on her age. I'm old enough to have watched the show when it was prime-time (and I did), both Keith and Laurie are older than I, but the other 3 Partridge kids are younger.

BTW, Shirley is still beautiful as ever - I had the honor and privilege of meeting her last week at an autograph show. She autographed my DVD's for me. I love that woman's voice, always have since I first saw "Oklahoma" on TV years ago. I saw Suzanne Crough and Brian Forster as well, but had run out of $$ for autographs (they cost at autograph shows) so I hope they're there again. They're younger than I am by a few years, I believe they're my brother's age.

I'm now older than Shirley Jones was at any age when she did PF, but I'm still younger than all the actors who played her kids. (I'm 40 now.) According to some references, Jeremy Gelbwaks is actually 2 1/2 months younger than Suzanne Crough, who played his younger sister, but then I've seen his birth year given as 1963 (same as Suzanne's) and also as 1961 (which would make more sense for someone playing her older brother). His birthday is definitely May 22, and Suzanne's is March 6, as you can see on the album cover of "Up to Date". That cover wouldn't have worked if any of the cast members had had a birthday on the same day of the month. Speaking of birthdates, is anyone sure of Dave Madden's? I've seen it given in different sources as Dec. 17, 1931, Dec. 18, 1931, and Dec. 15, 1933. I guess we can be sure it's in December at least. If it's Dec. 18, 1931, then he appeared on the cover of TV Guide on the issue dated on his 40th birthday, which I'm sure would've made a nice birthday present.

But now they're all older too so we shouldn't feel so bad.

Well, the point I wanted to make is:
I'm not a teenager or early 20's anymore, and the only single gals around are either too young for me, or the single women that are my age have been divorced 2 or 3 times and have 2 or 3 kids. Not really what I'd call "available", anyway. (although I know that others have their own feelings about that, so please don't be mad at me.)

If my 70 year old mom can find an available man to date, then you shouldn't give up on it.
