Dana Elcar, who played Collinsport's usual Sheriff George Patterson, has past on. I read about it in Time magazine last night night. He was also on MacGyver.

I loved him on MacGyver. Dana Elcar was awesome.

I've only seen him on this show and he was great. First Lane Smith from Lois & Clark, now Dana. It's horrible.

Does anybody know why he didn't continue as the Sheriff on DS? I didn't like the other sheriffs. Dana seemed more "sheriffy" I guess.
