Brandon Tartikoff must be rolling in his grave after what he did in the 80s to save that network.

No one can ever duplicate Brandon Tartikoff. NBC Thursday and Saturday nights in the 80s were great.

You were born in 1986(supposedly). How much of a memory can you about that time and how much interst could you have in Thurday and Saturday nights? In 89 you would have been only 3 and should have been in bed before any of the good shows came on. This ought to be a real good explaination.

Just because he wasn't old enough to see the shows first run, doesn't mean he hasn't seen them at all. I can watch a show that was popular 20 years ago today, and see why it was so popular. I don't get the arguement.

I find it funny that he's bragging about the 80's and he was he wasn't old enough to wipe his own nose yet.

Well I wasn't that old, but I remember alot of the shows I used to watch as a kid. Family Ties was the first show I can remember watching, I'm sure it wasn't the first year, but I remember my mom used to let me stay up to watch it cause I liked it so much.

Good article.

NBC has a lot to worry about. They've relied too much on reality shows while failing to find suitible replacements for their long running shows that were bowing out.

They need good sitcoms, not an "Apprentice" spinoff.
