I read somewhere Yvonne De Carlo eventually sold her car because people kept stealing the Munster features such as the webbed hubcaps.

Stephen Cox's fantastic book The Munsters Televisions First Family of Fright, says it was a customized Munster Jaguar Mark X. "It featured a solid brass wolf hood ornament, gilded coffin rails for the luggage rack, and on the door a Munster insignia with rubies for droplets of blood. De Carlo eventually sold the car because fans kept stealing the intricate monster features, such as the webbed hubcaps." Confirming what ph1l wrote.
Note the Barris logo on the side just in front of the door. ![]() (If you're a Munster fan and don't have this book, yet, track one down! )From the Barris book, Cars of the Stars: "Actress Yvonne DeCarlo had a 1966 Jaguar 4.2 sedan restyled with the Lily Munster motif from her famous "Munsters" television series. An electric push button sunroof opens in the front section so she can sit on the top panel while riding in parades and special exhibitions. Authentic gold-plated coffin griprails are secured to the top. A pair of gold coffin handles in satin and bright plate finish were attached to each side of the trunk panel. On the door panel, a jewelry finished hand-made gold-plated crest of Lily's family from Transylvania was designed incorporating ruby blood drops, a dead lily and a snarling wolf head. A snarling wolf head with lighted ruby red eyes serves as a distictive hood ornament. The interior was made of a simulated casket finished in hand sewn Austrian swags, with gray silk drapes with black tassels installed on the side windows and back light. They are removable. The interior is finished in blood red leather in air foam rolls and deep pleats. The car was painted in 30 coats of nitro-cellulose lacquer in an ebony spider web black with a horizontal blood line strip."
