Default What's Really Going On?

I watched Half and Half Monday night, and I was not feeling it at all. This show is starting to suck. The writing is not as good as it was in the beginning. I liked how Mona and Spencer were trying to figure out things between them. Now, it's not good anymore. It's just blah!

I used to watch this in its first season, but it has run out of gas to me. Obba Babatunde and Valarie Pettiford deserve a better series than this and Essence Atkins is just there for her looks at this point. She's basically a supporting player now. This show is very predicable.

You guys are right, it's not nearly as funny as it use to be. I still like the show, but they need better storylines. I do like the fact that they haven't had the new baby overshadow the show, actually they don't really mention him that much which is a good thing, but it makes me wonder why they even made Big Dee Dee pregnant in the first place cause it really wasn't needed. This season has become kind of repetitive imo, Big Dee Dee trying to get back into show business and spending Charles' money, Charles complaining about Big Dee Dee spending his money, Phyllis being as nosy as usual and bantering with Big Dee Dee, Little Dee Dee dating guys and asking Mona for advice, Mona being insecure about her decisions at her job, Adam being Adam, and Spencer who has been reduced to making goofy comments. Spencer is my favorite character so with him not doing much this season is really disappointing to me. Since Spencer and Mona don't have any significant others this season and their parents no longer date, they should be trying to hook up now.

The cast have a nice chemistry together but the stories need major work on!
