Question Yuck ! Who saw the youngest kid from "Home Improvement" on Entertainment Tonight ?

He's 17, married to a woman twice his age, living in Kansas, so broke he can't even afford food, with long hair, and looking dangerously thin. Another in a long line of child star casualties it seems.

I suppose that all of the drugs and law breaking in the world can be matched by going from starring on one of the highest rated TV shows of the 1990s to actually mowning lawns. Brett Butler better roll out the welcoming mat for another fallen star of an ABC sitcom right about now.

Looks like we have another Gary Coleman situation on our hands, his parents are milking him out of thousands of dollars.

He's completely unrecognizable from his Home Improvement days.

There's also an article online (and probably in the magazine) on the People site - http://people.aol.com/people/features/wherearetheynow/

It's amazing that such a change can happen so quickly, because, as of this post (9/1/01), it's only been 2 years since ABC cancelled the show. Amazing!

Wow, what a shocker! I never would have guessed that something like that happened. That's too bad.

Then again, who really knows what type of Macualay Culkin times 10 stunt Smith is trying to prove here. Maybe Smith's ratty look is being attributed to him lobbing for a biography on Carrot Top to be made. Hell, it's not like he has or will get a string of high brow work anytime soon anyway.

Puberty wasn't kind to Taran Smith, even when the show was still running. Obviously a complete head case.

It's kind of like what happened to his character towards the end of the show. He was isolated from everyone else, dressed differently (Gothic) and hung out with strange people.

I don't remeber seeing that special in particular, but the last time I seen him on tv, about 3 or 4 moths ago, I thought that he was really BAD UGLY ! GA-ROSS !
