By this time I thought we'd be discussing the Season 2 DVD, but it looks like Universal is taking their time. Oh well!
I wanted to discuss the Season 1 DVDs video and audio quality, so that the folks at home get a better judgment when they decide to buy it. I think the overall quality is excellent! Except, there are 4 slight annoyances. 1. "Knock Wood, Here Comes Charlie" has very low sound. 2. "Autumn Croakus" has a crack in sound at the beginning of the transition theme. 3. "Autumn Croakus" also has a crack in the picture, that looks like a lighting bolt on the screen. 4. "Lily Munster- Girl Model" Has about 6 black dots that stay in the center of the screen for the first 8 or so minutes. There are occasional "ink spots" and "snowflakes" throughout the rest of the episodes, but mostly excellent quality. I was going to give this set a "9", but for cleaning up the color pilot so nicely, I will give it a "10" out of "10". ![]() I also liked the opening animation where the characters run across the screen and the Koach drives up, while the opening theme is played in the backround. ![]() Last edited by Munsters#1 : 04-19-2005 at 04:04 AM. |
