Post What is y Our Least Favorite "green Acres" Episode?

Although "GREEN ACRES" is my all-time favorite show, there were some episodes that I liked and some that I didn't like.

My three least favorite episodes of the show are the following.

1. The episodes in which Eb was supposed to go over to his girlfriend Lorelei's house, but then a thunderstorm came up, the bridge was washed out, and Eb was reported missing. A stray dog shows up at the farm during the storm, and Lisa thinks its Eb. Eb never got to his girlfriend's house, but instead stayed at Ben Miller's house until the storm passed. I call this episode the "Alfred Hitchcock" episode.

2. The episode in which both Oliver and Lisa run for mayor of Hooterville. There was so much fierce competition that they both had a fight, in which Oliver walks out on Lisa, but they both later decide to drop out of the race.

3. The episode in which Lisa declares war on the dear hunters of Hooterville. She takes around a petition to be signed but when the Governor shows up in Hooterville, she presents the petition to him, but then he declares that the deer-hunting season to be open. She later flies up in an airplane yelling with a bullhorn to tell the deer to keep running for their lives.

Personaly,I didn't like the episode where Eb dated Betty Jo.It was alright, but not that funny-and Linda Kaye Henning seemed out of place.(She was really good in Petticoat Junction.)

I'd have to say the last two eps. Oliver and Lisa were hardly in them.

The last two episodes of "GREEN ACRES' were really pilots for television series which never really got off the ground.

I really liked the episode about deer hunting, because I am 100% opposed to hunting, and I like that Lisa cared about the deer - "run for your lives, they going to shoost you!"

The hunting episode was definitely one of my favorites - the entire time I watched that episode I was thinking "Go Lisa!!! Save the deer!"

That's one reason I don't entirely like Oliver's character - he supported hunting.

There were some episodes that were funnier than others, but for the most part, I don't really have an episode that I just don't like.

Cheerio!

Some of the ones with flashbacks are kinda grating to me. I also don't like the Molly Turgiss episode much.

Okay, this may be my favorite show, but there are a few ep's that annoy me. Number one, the one where Lisa tries to get rid of deer hunting. I grew up around hunting, half of my family hunts, so I am for it. I mean, we DO have to eat down here. Deer meat is like a delicacy here in my town.

I'm not crazy about the ones with flashbacks referring to when Oliver and Lisa met, or the ones where Lisa tells some Hungarian gypsy story. Annoying. Sorry Arnold lovers, I never liked the one where he became a movie star or a billionaire. Too off the wall for me. Hey, I always liked Drobny the duck, he was too cute! Especially when he got that girlfriend named Gertrude.

I don't know why people don't like the ones with that little girl in it from the city. I always thought she was cute, especially when her and Eb acted all brother-sister together. I wish Oliver and Lisa had become parents or something.

I have to agree- seeing Lisa trying to raise a kid would have been hysterical

Hawaiian Honeymoon...what a horrible show. A failed pilot and I can see why.

Just out of curiosity, what exactly happened on the "Hawaiian Honeymoon" episode? I hear that I'm not missing much, but all the episode guides for this episode are very vage.

After Lisa and Oliver stand in for Ebb at his department store window wedding, they go off to Hawaii for a "honeymoon". Mostly the show is around the guy who runs the hotel they are going to and I believe his young English niece. The niece gives the honeymoon suite as a favor to a couple of her friends since they couldn't afford it. Then Lisa and Oliver show and it's hijinks aplenty...well not really...bad ..bad...bad. There was no chemistry at all between the characters.
