Post Have you noticed the change in Rose on the Golden Palace?

Rose became a lot stronger still holding on to her stupidity. Becoming the main lead character I she had to. She got nastier with her insults and there was one episode when Dorothy made a guest appearance and Rose hit her with the newspaper.
-----------------------
Blanche and Rose in competition over a man:

Blanche: Why do you(talking to the man) come up to my room and I'll give you some the special desert that I have waiting?

Rose: Are you sure that you have enough left Blanche? I mean you've been passing a lot of samples lately.
--------

Blanche: If you'll excuse me I'm going upstair to try to make myself look younger.

Rose: May I suggest a time machine?
--------------

Blanche: If we keep losing money on the hotel we'll wind up on the streets.

Rose: Well, Blanche at least you'll have a job.

Rose could chew(insult) almost as good as Sophia. She was still naive but a bit smarter and stronger.
----------------

Rose addressing Sophia)How would you like for me to iron those wrinkles out of your face you little snitch?

I have 22 of 24 episodes of the Golden Palace. I love watching the show.

Cool

I think it's hysterical how Betty White made Rose a bit stronger through the episodes and then in the Golden Palace, especially since she was asked to do the role of Blanche originally, which would have made her have more of a backbone. (Not to mention imply she be on said backbone a lot.)
