Default The Munsters - The Complete Second Season

I was wondering, since the first season DVD set had some music right problems, will season 2 have problems because of episode #62 "The Musician". Because Eddie plays a little bit of "Carnival in Venice"?

We'll have to wait and see. Who would have known after 40 years there was still going to be some 'right' issues to be haggled. I heard that "WKRP in Cincinatti" was put on hold for quite some time because of song royalty issues.

My best,

It's gonna be pretty stupid to have Herman say "My son will now play Carnival in Venice" And then Eddie plays something completely different, all because of a few stupid music rights!

I'm guessing they thought that they'd get a big royalty chunk for the show's release on DVD. Little did they know that Universal wouldn't go that high to use it and changed the tune. If they would have just accepted a smaller amount, they'd be getting a check. But since they weren't reasonable, they'll get nothing. They shoulda knowed!

(I could be wrong, but it sounds reasonable to me.)

My best,
Dirt
