Question fanfiction

I'm always looking for fanfiction for this show. I know www.fanfiction.net has a small fandom going, but I can't find much else. There's the Jhourdhaun series as well.

There used to be a large fandom for this show. What has happened to all the old fanfiction? There was even a fanzine published for awhile.

Anybody know where to find some good HOTN fanfic?

I compiled this list of links for another forum and thought I might just put it up here too.

This is all the fanfic I've ever managed to find for the show. Good or bad, here they are:

New Link:
http://www.fanfiction.net/tv/In-the-...0/0/0/0/0/1/0/

http://home.earthlink.net/~sammi4/

Dead Link: You might be able to find it Cached on Google
http://wandererverse.com/Wanderer/St...agonsscale.htm

Link Back From the Dead:
http://salmorris.20m.com/nubiangeek/...love_pt__1.htm

And can't forget the slash:

http://www.squidge.org/~peja/cgi-bin...y.php?sid=4712
http://www.squidge.org/~peja/cgi-bin....php?sid=22116

For those who don't know, there is a fanzine which publishes heat fic. It hasn't put out anything lately, but there's a yahoo group for it called Heat Source, if memory serves me.

Default Found a new fic

Once again, I don't endorse these fics as good, bad or otherwise.

This appears to be a Tibbs/Gillespie slash based on the '67 movie. Not a big slash fan myself, so I barely skimmed it. Enjoy... or at least get a good chuckle. I did!

http://community.livejournal.com/sil...fic/20305.html

Edit: Just wanted to add that there are five parts to this fic. For those not very familiar with LiveJournal, go over to the links at the left and look under "Recent Entries" and when that page comes up, scroll down and either look to the left thru "Page Summary" or just scroll thru the entries. Looks like the fic is about to roll over to the "Previous 20". So you might have to look there for it.

There is another heat related fic to be found at

http://www.asstr.org

Simply put, I love Bubba too much to directly link anyone to it. You'll likely want to laugh yourself silly AND bleach your corneas. Just google, it's there. Believe me. It's there! LOL!

The mass exodus from FF led most of us to a site called Archive of Our Own, also known as AO3. Here's a link to the Heat fanfic section.

I really gave Blurred Lines a re-write, especially the last chapter. Overall, I think there's about ten pages of extra content.

My other stuff should rise from the ashes soon. Blurred Lines needed a lot of work, but my other stuff is pretty solid.

Edit: If you haven't checked the Fanfiction.net link above lately, you might want to. A few fics have been added the past year or so. Sadly, a lot of things are sitting over there unfinished. Give the authors some love. I would, but they're mostly Lonnie fics. Who cares about those.

Lonnie says, "Dooshbag". 'Nough said.

I give you: Missi Skinner! Prepare to weep for the English language.

Sadly, Lonnie does NOT say "Dooshbag" in this fic.

Coup de Foudre is reposted in all its complete fourteen chapter glory. No serious revisions, but I think it's greatly improved. (As my mom would say, "You just slapped chocolate on a dog turd.")

Yes, it is late and I am tired... and I'm just glad to finally have this finished.

Nearly 120,000 words. I admit, I am both surprised and embarrassed.

I need to get a life. Seriously.

(Sorting through some files tonight and found a little snippet of a Heat ep and Lonnie looked so young. I'm used to writing him older and more mature and have him in my head like that all the time. He looked so young, it was like he had barely hit puberty. Just got a kick out of that.)
