U.S.S. Millwalkie - Happy Days Gang in Star Trek senerio 3.

It's been forever since I worked on this morning...and I'm typing this at 8AM after having been up until 1. So please, bear with me. When I near being finished, I'll post an entirely edited version in it's complete form. Here goes...

Lt. Commander Roger Phelps could barley fight back the stupid grin that kept trying to plant itself on his face. He'd seen the crew list for his new assignment, and, as if the entire senior crew were friends of his from the Accademy wasn't enough...he'd also be serving with his cousen, Richie. Or, more spifically, serving under him.

He tried to look professional as he strode through the corodoars of the finished U.S.S. Millwalkie. It had come a long way from the design project it had begun as...and to think that the sketches he and his crew had made as an ensign were brought so perfectly to life by none other then Potsie Webber...it was mindboggleing.

Even more mindboggleing was the choice for Captian. Of course, with Potsie's connections and loyalty combined...it shouldn't be too big a surprise that newly-promoted Captian Fonzerilli was going to be arriving and taking command of the Millwalkie. Roger still clearly remembered the day at the accadamy...after his team had failed their teamwork scenerio...he'd turned on Fonzie. There was some irony in thinking he'd told his friend that he wouldn't survive past 21 in starfleet, and would deffently never get promoted past Lt. Espically now that he would soon be serving under him.

Roger entered the turbolift...but just before the doors closed, someone else came racing up. "Hold the doors!" was the shout. A moment later, Roger was sharing the turbolift with Lt. Chachi Arcola. "Hey Chach!" Roger greeted enthuasticly.

Chachi smiled, and Roger instantly knew something was wrong. Chachi was no longer behaving like the Chachi he knew. He wore the dress uniform, everything perfictly in place. His back seemed locked in it's perfictly upright position...and, at a glance, even Roger could tell he was increadably tence. His smile was tight-lipped and forced. Worse, his voice was clipped as he greeted "Hello, Lt. Commander." then, to the turbolift, added "Bridge."

In no mood for such professionalism from the one person he'd expected to share visable enthuasiam, Roger immidently asked "What's wrong?"

Chachi's reaction was like that of a vulcan. An odd look, and a one-word responce of "Nothing."

"Instant denial." Roger stated. "C'mon Chach...talk to me."

Chachi blinked. A note of scarsam slammed into his voice. "I'm sorry...I wasn't aware you'd been made ships counculer."

Roger took a slight step back, stunned. "C'mon Chachi...we both know this isn't you."

Chachi looked straight ahead, not even glancing at Roger. "The captian seems to think it is."

The turbolift doors opened and Chachi walked out, a very confused Roger behind him.
