I got this excerpt from the Step by Step Episode Guide at TV Tome.

From Season 5, Episode 105 "What's Wrong with This Picture?": When Frank finally calls the exterminator and he comes to the door, JT fears it is the mobster coming to kill him, the rat.

When I saw this episode on Thursday, I didn't know what happened to JT. The last I heard from him in that episode was when he knocked on his parents' room and asked Frank if he could sleep there because he was scared. Did anyone remember the part I listed above, with the exterminator? Because I don't.

I don't. TV Tome is ran by fans, so there's a chance that the summary you posted above is wrong. I've seen it happen before.
