California is a state, not a holiday.

If an American says holiday, we mean Christmas, New Years.....that sort of thing.

And for those of you who are baffled by the California response (which actually made sense to me): Across the pond, holiday is a term VERY frequently used for vacation.

To answer both questions at once:
Favorite Holiday: Christmas
Favorite place to go on holiday (IE: Vacation): Florida, with Colorado being a very close second.

Christmas: The presents, the food, the music
Fourth of July: Cookouts, hot weather, swimming, fireworks

My birthday (well it's a holiday to me) just kidding it's Christmas because I love the decorations and the music (except when I'm working then I wish I was deaf) and the presents of course LOL

HALLOWEEN!

Because it's spooky and there's some mystery to Halloween-related things like ghosts.

You look at a house with Christmas lights, and it looks nice, but you look at a house with Halloween effects and you wonder how they do that. How does a prop move or light or something.
But I like Christmas, too.

Me too. I feel so worldly now.

That's actually a cool way to put it...going on holiday.

Anyway, Hoiday is Christmas and holiday is Kansas City.
