Default Here's what id have liked to see in a modern version of the Beetle

Ill admit, it looks more like the old car with a "Cal-look treatment , but , thats because i kept more of the old styling cues than the "New Beetle" has...I slanted the fenders and the headlights closer to the angle of the orig cars, i added the horn grilles ( Seen on the New Beetle show car, actually ), added the "bullet" front turn lamps , to resemble those on 55-57 Beetles and a 1973 Super Beetle type windsheild. in the rear, I gave the car tail lamps that stick out of the fenders...i dont like the pancake tail lamps of the present car, you may also notice the way i indented the hood to give just a HINT of the old flowing hood indentation...and lastly, i added the trim on the sides and trunk, and put the VW logo back where it BELONGS: Up on the cowl, by the windshield
ps, notice the radio antenna on the right fender

Maybe we'll see your ideas on the second-generation front-drive Beetle, Mikado, if there ever is one!

Hey, here's a nice VW Fire Chief's buggy from Denmark.

If anybody can read Danish, I found it here, while looking for pictures of old Mitsubishi Canters.

Notice the vehicle on the right in the background? That's a VW Sharan, a seven-passenger wagon not for sale in North America! So we have two Volkswagens for the price of one!

Here's the Sharan's little brother, the Golf-based Touran!

It does, but it looks like we're not going to get it. VW has never competed aggressively in the pickup market in North America for some reason.

The new Volkswagen Fox! This is not the boxy Fox model from the late eighties!

Will it get here? Ehh, not quite sure about that!
