THE success of smash-hit US TV show Desperate Housewives means viewers will be seeing a lot more of one of its stars.

Teri Hatcher, who shot to fame as Lois Lane in the 90s Superman TV series, has won a behind-the-scenes bra war with producers.

It kicked off when 40-year-old Teri, who has a seven-year-old daughter, said she wanted her character, Susan Mayer, to display more of her ample charms.

Producers vetoed the idea, fearing viewer protests.

But now the show, is a hit, they have given her the thumbs-up.

Teri said: 'I like sheer bras you can see my 'ahems' through - but ABC has a big problem with those.

'But since our show is a hit now, I haven't been getting any notes.'

LOL!

I personally thought her girls were going to jump out of her shirt in the pilot episode! Just watch the scene towards the end when Susan marches to Edie's house with the measuring cup. Nipple city...
