I like Mr. Furley better, i thought he was so much funnier, than the Ropers. I never liked Mr. Roper at all, he was kinda boring IMO.

I love them both! However, I like Furley a little bit more. He was more wacky and crazy. LOL

It is really hard to decide, but I think I like Furley a little bit more than Roper!

I like Mr. Furly better, but thats not to say I didnt like the Ropers. The problem with the ropers was that they used that same joke over and over and after a while they could even do it convincingly enough and it was just old. (The joke about the lack of "closeness" in there marriage)

I think that the joke that got old was Tinkerbell and making fun of Jack because he thought he was gay. But the part with the tinkerbell thing that was funny was "Jack's Navy Pal." where Mrs. Roper said what Stanly was doing and the blind man thought he was gay.

I like them both in their own way. I'll give the edge to Furley because he brought more energy to the show and he got more involved personally with the roomates.

Well I have a tough time picking this one despite my name on this board. I haven't seen all the episodes, but when I started watching all I every seen were episodes from season 4 and up with Mr. Furley. I did see occasional episodes with the Ropers. Mr. Furley, I agree brought more energy to the character and I always got a kick out of his cockyness. But my delema now is that I have seen all the episodes with the Ropers on DVD and I thought they were great as well. But I will stick with Mr. Furley his facial expressions were priceless.
