There were274 episodes, which ran on CBS... the first 106 were in black and white.

Where you may get confused about how many episodes were produced is because not all episodes are syndicated in smaller TV markets. There was a syndication package for many years called "The Best of The Beverly Hillbillies" which featured 168 episodes, mostly black and white and the rest color episodes through about 1969. TV Land and TBS ran all 274 episodes. Also, many sources say 216 total episodes produced, which of course, is inaccurate.

I don't believe TVLand airs all 274 episodes. #'s 263-265 which are The Grunion Invasion, The Girls from Grun, and The Grun Incident, respectively have not been aired. The creative writing of these episodes have made them my favorites...

They also didn't air "Marry Me Shorty" for some reason.
