what does Stewie say in the theme? "Laugh and cry" or "Effin' cry"?

The first 2 seasons it was "laugh and cry", but the recording was fuzzy so it sounded like "F'n cry".

Then for the third season they re-recorded "laugh and cry" so it sounded clearer.

Even in Season 3 I still find it confusing and to me at least, it still sounds like effin cry, but the producers say it's "laugh and cry" and it has always supposed to be like that
