Hi! I just posted an article to my Web site about my experiences writing for "The Brady Brides" and "The Bradys." I was a Story Editor on the first and wrote the "Bottoms Up" episode of the latter. (I realize "The Bradys" is probably the least liked of all the Brady shows, but don't blame me -- I was just a hired hand.) The URL is: http://www.insidetvbiz.com. Then click on "Here's the Story of a Brady Writer."
For those of you here who are also on the FOL board, I just want to thank you for reading my FOL article and making it the most-read and most-linked-to piece on my site. Sandy |

My other credits include Facts of Life, Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Hotel, Eight Is Enough, Falcon Crest, the daytime soap Sunset Beach, and lots of other shows that didn't last long.
Are you asking how I did research for turning Marcia into an alcoholic? Well, it certainly wasn't from real life 'cause I don't drink (I never developed a taste for liquor; I would much rather have chocolate). I don't remember if I did much research. The episode didn't delve that deeply into the disease itself. The most extensive research I ever did for an episode was for my first assignment on Hotel -- it dealt with bulimia (there's an article about it on my site). |
