hi, i have a question about syncing recording speeds. i have alot of stuff recorded in slp mode. when transferring this to another tape, do you recommend recording at the same speed or at sp speed? i usually transfer at the same speed as the original was recorded, ie sp to sp or slp to slp. is quality affected in any way when recording form slp to sp. just wanted some input on this. thanks

SP will always give better quality than SLP.

I have a question related to this topic.
I have a DVD recorder and when I try and copy old VHS tapes onto DVD in SP mode or any other mode the picture looks great but the words don't match when the people are talking. Has anyone else had this problem? It seems to only happen if the shows on VHS were in EP or LP mode. |
