Question Physicals

Hi everyone. Quick question. It's been a while since I've gone to my doctor for a physical and of course I'm a little nervous. When I went last, it was from my pediatrician which I no longer go to because I'm too old now and there was eye exam and ear exam and all that fun stuff.

Anyone know if every physical includes ear and eye exams? I'll admit, eye tests worry me

Thanks everyone!

Hmmmm, I don't think so. From what I remember, they just take basic information from you. Height, weight, blood pressure. They also like you to urinate in a cup, and play with your package. It wasn't so bad.

There are two stages of a physical..The first one, is the basic weighing, height, and checking both your blood pressure or taking some blood for tests...

The Second one is,well for women having a Pap Smear, and going over the tests from the first physical...

I'm sure they look in your ears, but it's all of a minute and if they don't see anything bad, they go on to something else.

And I've never had anyone but an eye doctor look at my eyes.

i hate in-depth physicals like at the doctor. the ones they do at the school for sports people involve height, weight, and bp

Every year when I get my physical, all my doctor does is look at my ears, nose, throat, and blood pressure.

I have about 8 other doctors that I see for more in-depth stuff. Eye doctor, pulmonologist, shoulder specialist, neurologist for my migraines, yadda yadda...

This is terrible. I can't remember when I had my lasy physical. I have had my eyes checked and gotten new glasses a few years ago and a couple of years ago I went to the doctor for some shoulder and neck pain and got diagnosed with scoliosis. The only doctor I see at least once a year is the dentist.

This is terrible. I can't remember when I had my last physical. I have had my eyes checked and gotten new glasses a few years ago and a couple of years ago I went to the doctor for some shoulder and neck pain and got diagnosed with scoliosis. The only doctor I see at least once a year is the dentist. I vaguely remember getting my blood pressure checked, but I don't remember when exactly.
