Default I need to know how many people would buy a Good Times DVD before the Jeffersons and

why?

I thought the Jeffersons would always be selected over Good Times because it wasn't depressing like Good Times. GT is a good show but i never thought it was better than the Jeffersons.

I think Jeffersons was the superior show, but there might be people who liked Jimmy Walker more than Sherman Hemsley

I have both.... but got The Jeffersons first.

Because The Jeffersons is one of my favorites of all time.... while Good Times is a good series that I like.... but wouldnt call a favorite.

The Jeffersons is better in every way, IMO.

I have The Jeffersons on DVD ... plan to buy rest of the seasons. I haven't bought any of the Good Times DVDs and I don't plan on it. The Jeffersons, I think, is a MUCH better show than Good Times.

I like both shows, grew up watching them both. But I have more affection for Good Times, maybe because it seemed more realistic to me as a child. They dealt with topics I wasn't used to seeing on sitcoms, and watching it as a young child, GT made more of a lasting impression. I think people consider the Jeffersons a better show because its' appeal is more mainstream than Good Times. They're two very different shows, so I won't say one is better than the other. But they're both favorites of mine, and I'd buy all dvds released for each series.

I personally would rather buy "Good Times." I'm not saying it was the better show, although I like it more than "The Jeffersons."

The videos are numbered but the early ones aren't as good. #3 is where I really get going.

I don't particularly care for either show, but I'd buy Jeffersons first, for sure.

I don't really like Good Times very much. I like The Jeffersons, but I'm not sure if I've seen enough episodes to like it enough to purchase it on DVD.

In local syndication? Probably four years ago. It was part of Sony's "Screen Gems" package.

Yeah the same for me. I think it was 2000 when it aired as part of the Screen Gems Package in Philly
