Default June Cleaver....

did she ever do anything besides clean house (like it needed cleaning)? In tonight's episode, she wanted Ward to go to school (while he's at work) and get the suits back... I know they are Ward's suits, but she could help him out a little....

Sorry, all you June fans, but she kind of ticks me off!

But in the "Suits" episode, there was a lengthy dinner-table scene explaining WHY June wasn't going to go to school to "get the suits back".

June, a la Perry Mason (as Wally put it), convinces Ward that it was all his fault in the first place for putting his suits on the banister, and, logically, it was he (Ward) who should go to school and explain the embarrassing mix-up.

Did this scene get totally cut from the TV-Land airing?

yes... they did have that scene in the TV land airing, but I mean COME ON, she could help him out a little...

every time supper's ready, she gets Ward to call the boys, everytime Wally or Beaver are in trouble Ward climbs up the stairs to talk to them.... IT'S JUST ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad she had Ward get the suits, because he automatically put it on her to go do it, even though it was his mistake. Its not like it was a simple errand to run, it was quite embarrassing to go to the school and ask for the three new suits back, after everyone thought the Cleavers were so generous to help out the poor, and Ward seemed pretty satisfied to just let her handle it and put him in the clear. I'm glad she stood up for herself and told him to do it himself.

I agree with that 100% HaskellGirl. June did a lot for Ward (do his laundry, make supper, keep everything right and organized for him), so it really wasn't her duty to go pick up the suits when it was in fact Ward who told Beaver to pick up the clothes in the front hallway, where the suits landed.

Why should I divide what feels so right?

Oh that June is something else! Did anyone notice in "Wally's Practical Joke" how she sternly ordered Ward not to tell the boys about the joke he and his friends pulled when in school?

Well I blame that on Ward, he's the one letting her get away with that.
