Default Why would James offer those salt and pepper shakers...

....to a known gambler who was "sick". That's like offering a junkie drugs. They're gonna take it. I guess he was trying to be smart, figuring he wouldn't take them. Trying to be macho in front of his family. The funny scene was how James looked at Florida after he left. He looked as he was embarassed by him doing it, LOL. I laugh everytime I see it.

I know, right. I often wondered that myself. Poor Florida. She really loved those salt and pepper shakers.

Default Funnier if...

It would have been funny if James ran out the door and you heard him yell, "Give those back you sick fool!" then came back in carrying them.

It is an old trick used to shame kids...and is full proof. I guess to an adult junkie it is not according to the writers of the show.

Amazing how he did take the shakers yet Florida was able to get the ice blooded Sweet Daddy to spare J.J. a beating.

That's TV for you!!
