Mrs. Livingston was classic Asian stereotype of the period. But at least she was played by an actual Asian person.
(Unlike Mickey Rooney in "Breakfast at Tiffany's") In those days, whenever they showed an Asian person -- or in those days they were "Orientals" -- they always played that same piece of theme music behind them. More stuff... |
