Is anybody else here a fan of this hilarious Rowan Atkinson britcom set in the Gasforth Police Station? I love the rivalry between the uniformed and plainclothes squads which is rediculous when you realize that in the end both are inept. I also love the relationships between the different characters. This show is well written and well acted by a fine cast.

I love most Britcoms, and I was glad to see a new one (well, new to me anyway) featuring Rowan Atkinson. I'd never even heard of it until it came to BBC America late last year. I like it a lot.
Also, I didn't realize until now that Mark Addy of Still Standing is British. When he turned up in the second series of The Thin Blue Line, I had to look him up online to confirm that he is in fact from the UK. He was born in York and studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. I never would have guessed. |

I have been catching reruns of "Thin Blue Line" weekends on the BBC, and I like it.
I love Rowan Atkinson. He is great to watch in anything.

I love TTBL. It wasn't very well received here in the UK when it was first aired but it has a strong fanbase.
Some of the humour in it is very 'Carry On' but it works and stands repeated viewing.
