if ratings for the 13 episode half-season next year are a drastic improvement on this season, would there be a chance at it coming back?

I would say Yes, Dear is history after the 13 episodes that will air sometime during the 2004-2005 season.
Becker averaged decent ratings this past season with their 13 episodes, but it still got canned in January 2004. |
