“Art For Monkee's Sake,” Episode No. 37 of The Monkees (first aired Oct. 9, 1967), was repeated @ 7:30 p.m. EDT on NBC. Kellogg’s™ sponsored.

Trivia Footnote: on the day that this telecast went to air, The Monkees’ fifth (and final Top 10) album, The Birds, The Bees & The Monkees (Colgems #COM/COS-109), was released; it was the last original Monkees LP to be released during the original run of The Monkees TV series.

APRIL 22, 1972

"Fairytale", Episode No. 48 of The Monkees (prod. #4748, first aired on NBC Jan. 8, 1968), was repeated @ noon EDT on CBS.

APRIL 24, 1967

“The Monkees On Tour,”
an intimate Bob Rafelson written-directed view of a Monkees concert appearance in Phoenix, Arizona on January 21, 1967, first aired at 7:30 p.m. EDT on NBC as the 32nd episode of The Monkees.

Kellogg’s™ was the sponsor, and the songs featured were “The Girl I Knew Some Where” written by Michael Nesmith and produced by Douglas Farthing Hatlelid, and “I’m A Believer” written by Neil Diamond and produced by Jeff Barry. Onstage, The Monkees performed “Last Train To Clarksville,” “Sweet Young Thing,” “Mary, Mary,” “Cripple Creek,” (Peter) “You Can’t Judge A Book By Looking At The Cover,” (Michael) “I Wanna Be Free,” (David) “I Got A Woman,” (Micky) and “(I’m Not Your) Steppin’ Stone”.

This was the episode which concluded the series' sensational first season on NBC Television.

"The Monkee's Paw", Episode No. 51 of The Monkees (first aired on NBC Jan. 29, 1968), was repeated @ 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
