Default More popular, JJ or Fonzie?

It seems that JJ and Fonzie can relate, in a way. Both of their shows were popular and both their characters skyrocketed. I read about Good Times, but the Happy Days show is another interesting read. I remember reading about it on tvparty.com over a year ago. Don't know if it's still on there. They talked about how they wanted to re-name the show after Fonzie or something like that. During the opening credits, he was usually toward the end of the show(I'm talking the jukebox intro). During the next couple of seasons, he was second to Richie, even jumping past the parents.

I was just wondering, who was the most popular figure growing up, JJ or the Fonz? I owned one of those JJ shirts when I was a kid, so he was my favorite. But Fonz was too. Hey, in elementary school, there were more kids walking around trying to emulate the Fonz. Kids wearing their jackets half-zipped, with collars up. And didn't want to be touched. He really gave us the definiton of the word, cool. Even though banging on a damn jukebox without putting in coins was a joke. He wasn't that "all that"

As for JJ, other than dynomite, who wanted to act like or him? Or for that matter, dress like him???

Would have to say Fonzie was more popular. The character had a cartoon show.
