There is word that the Knicks are not going to protect Allen Houstan in the expansion draft. The Knicks are basicly begging the Boycats to take Houstan and that contract off their hands. Not very likely to happen, this reminds me of the Red Soxs putting Manny Ramirez on wavers and begging a team to him off their hands.
Both players are similar, they are both good players that make way to much money, and creple their teams from getting good players. Manny cost the Red Sox A-Rod, Houstan cost the Knicks Chris Webber, and might cost them players like Rasheed Wallace and Kobe Bryant. Both the Knicks and Red Soxs would do cartwells if they could get these players off their teams. Which player is more of a burden to his team? Ramirez or Houstan? I say Houstan, because of the salary cap.

Well, I am just talking about the contracts. I think even die hard Sox fans have to admit Ramirez makes way to much money. The Red Sox did put him on wavers.

no I understand that part, but even though it was a bad contract made, its not really hindering the sox that much, I mean they did sign Schilling and Foulke in the offseason |
