Default Mr. Ed Trivia, Help!

Guys,

How many times does Mr. Ed talk to somebody OTHER than Wilber in the series? He talks to the little boy in the "Kiddie Park" episode. What other instances are there where this occurs?

It seems like Mr. Ed made quite a few phone calls.

Lightbulb RE: How many people did Mr Ed talk to?

Yeah, that is TRUE. It would be hard to calculate as to how MANY people that he talked to via phone; but various sources do say that the little boy was the only one IN PERSON whom he talked to.
On phone, are various radio and contest people, as well as the phone operator, as he couldn't dial--or DID he, using a pencil in his mouth?
He talked to Dear Abby: Abigail van Buran
( yeah! Ann Landers' sister! I always thought it annoying that "Popo" not "Eppie" [ the Lederer twins' nicknames ] got more press and TV appearances! Because she sought them, and here sister didn't--though Ann Landers was a superior columnist! )

He also made a number of remarks to people when they weren't looking, which of course they assumed was Wilbur.

One episode he tells the Bank Robber after the loot they stashed in Ed's saddle bag to stick em up and don't turn around, until Wilbur and the cop get there.

He talked to a kid in one of the later episodes in a museum where he is posing as a indian horse display. (Same episode with Granny of the Hillbillies in it)

There was also one time he talked to a kid in a store at a comic book stand when Wilbur took all his away..
