I think he was an okay actor, but the way he spoke drove me CRAZY!!! I don't think he spoke that way in other roles if I'm not mistaken. He was trying to sound like a preacher or something and it was so annoying.

You noticed it too huh? He spoke like he was playing Othello in a very stiff manner in a high school production. This is why I say his acting skills were terrible. Listening to him talk was unintentionally hilarious. So often he spoke like he was spouting rhetoric. I wonder if he played it like that because he was supposed to be a minister's son. It was very strange to hear him talk.
