Default If you had to watch one TV show for all of eternity, what would it be?

You watch the episodes in order and when you get to the end of the series you start over. You don't have to be constantly watching TV, but when you do, it can only be one show. What show?

Mama's Family, without a doubt. I could never get sick of Vicki Lawrence as Mama.

I have to agree. I would really love to watch alternating episodes of Mama's Family and Family Ties though for eternity. But if only one, I would say Mama because those shows just never get old no matter how many times you watch them!

Cheers. I'm going watch the entire series in order as soon as all the DVDs come out... that won't be for a while, though.

Hmm, tough choice....I'd, honestly, say The Price is Right. It's not my favorite show, but, you've got to remember, it's produced approximately 6050 episodes of the Barker version alone, around 5500 of which are 1 hour long.

500/2 = 250 Hours + 5500 Hours = 5,750 Hours of Programming. There are few other shows on TV that can beat that. Yeah, Mama's Family, head of the Class, ALF, Facts of Life, Perfect Strangers, and Knots Landing I like better, but, you just can't beat 5,750 Hours/ And that's just Bob Barker's version. If it's inclusive of all versions, then you have to add around 75 Hours of Tom Kennedy's version, Around 50 Hours of Doug Davidson's Version, a few Hundred Hours of Dennis James' version, and somewhere in the 1000-ish hours range for Bill Cullen's version.

See, it's not entirely about favorite show. If you program a show that you like, even if it's not your absolute favorite...if it has an asininely long run, it weights out the slight preference difference.
