Default Would you still buy TV shows on DVD if the eps were NOT UNCUT?

I don't think i would because i like seeing the FULL LENGTH EPISODES. The Sharpness of the Picture is not that big of a deal to me. I Just found out today that the DVD for What's Happening is Edited which means my money was wasted.

I would if I really wanted to see it. I know the What's Happening DVD is edited, but I would still buy season 2 if/when it comes out.

I would not use my money tp buy edited eps. I rather do without. The only reason i accepted edited versions of other shows is because it was recorded off TV. I'm not paying $40 for chopped up eps. The hell with the sharpness of the picture. That's like having a girlfriend with a PRETTY FACE and Messed up TEETH-LOL

Why would I care if she had MISSING TEETH? Just like you shouldn't care about eps on DVD with MISSING SCENES!

Absolutely!!!

I don't want the DVD versions with cut-out material! (I'm happy I'm still able to hear all eight minutes plus of Don McLean's "American Pie" on the radio when it plays!)

As much as I hate it.... if it were a show that DOESNT air in syndication where I live.... Id buy it anyways.

But if a show like "Cheers" or "I Love Lucy" was edited.... Im not sure I would get it if it were edited seeing that I can watch the show daily edited anyways.

But you've got to think....
if a show is edited.... they wont change it.
You either take what they give you.... or not.

If it's a rare show, yes. Otherwise, no.

Uh...probably not. I'd have to have actually seen the show first.

(Solomon, man, you just said the wrong thing to the wrong person. I'd run, if I were you :-P)

Depends on the show, and the pricetag, really.

I would but only under the following circumstances.

1. If there were only a few episodes edited, like a couple from the Sanford and Son DVDs.
2. If the edits were made only because the scene/scenes cut might offend a number of people today. Otherwise, if they make pointless edits, I wouldn't like it.
3. If the edits didn't exceed 2-3 minutes. If that happened to a number of episodes, I would might as well watch the show on TV Land.
