Default Conner House Layout...

The thing that I don't get about the layout of thier house is Dan and Roseanne's bedroom. The window is in the wrong place, it would be facing towards the interior of the house where it is at now, and definatley not towards the neighbor's house. The bed is against the hallway wall right? From our POV, the window is to the right of the bed (and door to the bathroom opposite, on the left), which would be facing towards the living room. Is that right?

Oh yeah, also, how come Roseanne always said that she wanted shelves built into the wall by the door but there have been shelves there since the first episode?

Are there really enough room for the stairs going up where they are (wouldn't it take too much space out of Dan and Roseanne's bedroom, especially since they have like that mini-hall way thing going on between their room and the main hallway). And also, did anyone notice that the location of the stairs going down into the basement changed from the kitchen to the utility room (which Dan added on) and then back to the kitchen again at the end of the final episode?

But the utility room has been there since episode #1, it just wasn't 100% complete by that time. I can't remember when he finally did finish it but after that the stairs to the basement magically moved from the kitchen to that room.

Also, did the utility room have two doors leading outside? There's the one right in front of the kitchen door but then is there another one to the right somewhere? I remeber one episode where when Charolete comes over she leaves to go home and heads to the right in the utility room instead of going straight through the door in front of the kitchen door.

Okay, I think that I was wrong about the shelves. I just saw the opening from a first season episode and as it goes around the table you can see out into the livingroom, and it is actually just a bookcase pushed up agianst the wall, not shelves. So then when did the shelves go in?

But then the window would face towards the street, still not towards the neighbors house.

I also noticed that in earlier episodes, the basement door was located near the refridgerator but when David moved in, he would go out towards the washer and dryer to get downstairs. Can anyoen explain this?

Iloveroseanne
I did notice that and on this web site http://www.ameritech.net/users/dlh611/roseanne.htm
it says (In the later seasons, the basement is accessed through the service porch, which seems unrealistic, considering Dan added it on himself. In the final episode, the basement door is once again located in its old place by the stove.)

and also here in texas we have the Rodbells building BUt in texas it is wal-mart but it looks the same

thanks
