I watched the Absolutely Fabulous on oxygen and I was surprised that Roseanne didn't guest star. Joanne Lumley and Jennifer Saunders were both guest stars on Roseanne. Roseanne even tried to do an American version of Absolutely Fabulous.

Did she ever do anything with that? All I remember was that she bought the rights. But I don't remember if she actually made anything of it.

You have to remember that by the time Patsy and Edina guest-starred on Roseanne, "ABFAB" was over (at least for the time being) in England ("ABFAB" had just been shown in the US and was a smash hit), hence why Roseanne never guest-starred on thier show.
By the time that "ABFAB began filming again (there was about a five year break), "Roseanne" was long over. |
