Default What was the point?

I never got why they made a theme song with Lecy in it for season 5 when they knew she would only be a prominent character in the first 2 episodes. I'm a big Lecy fan but I just didn't get why they kept it that way or at least change it after her final apperance in that season.

In two episodes has 5 minute parts. One Dan Calls her to apolgize and another Roseanne keeps calling when her and Mark are having sex.

Roseanne may have thought that by removing her name face etc... people may forget that there was a Becky or people who started to watch the show at that time of its run would know that there is a Becky by keeping her likeness in the opening. Maybe Roseanne did not want people to think that Becky was like some of those characters on those shows that just erase a character without a reason, she wanted people to know that she was still a part of the cast even in her absence.

Yeah I know about them episodes but I still didn't get why after them episodes they didn't change it. They changed the theme song after 11 episodes in season 7 when Sarah Chalke joined the cast. I wonder if Lecy still got paid for that season since she was still credited in them, same with the batch full of episodes she missed in season 8.

The reason they changed the THEME after season 5, was because Roseanne had a whole new look.
