TV Bad Earl

Earl's finally out of jail and having a rough time of it. Him & Randy's sleeping in the laundry room of the motel, he's taking a bath out of a birdbath and eating birdfeed. He's discouraged and given up on his list and he's being rude & grouchy to everyone. What did you think of the episode? The funniest part for me was when he was dancing in that club.

I didn't think it was that funny. The show already jumped the shark. It's too bad actually.

^ I thought this episode was much better than some of the others this season. I agree that's it went down hill but it just might pick up steam and get better.

I hope it does, but then again when it does will anyone be around to watch it?

I don't think there are anymore episodes set to air due to the strike? I will give it a try again when it comes back, but I got a feeling not many people will.

^ You may be right, its probably already lost many of it's viewers because of the prison episodes.

you're right; sadly that was the last original episode until this damn writers strike is over.

It's a shame, because that was their best episode all season. I aggree with others; the prison episodes weren't that good.

They can still save the show by using the bad dream scenario. They show Earl and Billy are laying in the road and Earl keeps hearing Randy's voice until he wakes up in their room and realizes that everything from Joys pregnancy to his going to prison was all a bad dream after all it worked for Married With Children so it should work for this show.

^Hadn't thought of that! I suppose it could work but it also might make the remaining viewers mad.

A few friends have also told me they weren't happy with the whole prison storyline, but I liked it. Earl made the best of it, and there were some very funny episodes. Plus Craig T Nelson's appearances as the warden were great.

As for the episode in question, i like that every once in a while Earl gets frustrated and disillusioned with his karma quest, but in the end things get back on track. Unfortunatly, it took a car to snap him out of it.

Hopefully Alyssa Milano will be back as Earl's girlfriend. He deserves to get the girl.
