I seem to remember Bert Convy (best known to everyone as a game show host) was in several TV pilots that never got picked up. And a couple of TV series that did but didn't last long either.

Mary Page Keller was on one of the Fox Network's first show when the network hit the airwaves in 1987 called Duet. It ran for 2 and half seasons before being revamped and re-named Open House which ran for just one season. Then there was Baby Talk, Camp Wilder, Joe's Life and Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane.

Tone Bell is sitcom poison

Bad Judge (2014-2015) - NBC
Truth Be Told (2015) - NBC
Disjointed (2017-2018) - Netflix

His upcoming CBS mid-season sitcom Fam is has one season wonder written all over it
