Looks like it didn't work. Too bad, wouldn't it have been cool if it did though???

They'd have made so many profits just from us!! They should have done it.

Thumbs down Hi guys

I've been without my computer for several months, but I'm back now. Yes, I did e-mail this request to the McFarland web site and did not get a reply. Sorry. I thought it was a good idea too.

I have an idea. I don't know if this action figure possiblity is still a reality, but I bet you there are some stores that would definitely want to carry the dolls.

I went into Hot Topic last week looking for anything Happy Days related (sometimes they have really neat classic television stuff, as well as pin-up art). Anyway, I mentioned that I was looking for HD stuff and they said that they didn't have any...but the clerks freaked out because they thought that carrying HD stuff would be really neat, plus they said that *they* would buy the stuff. So...I was thinking...wouldn't a store like Hot Topic buy these dolls? I can see them being a real hit. If we could get ideas on what stores we think would be interested (and possibly get in touch with them), the figures might become more of a reality (you see my old sales side coming out! SELL SELL SELL!)

Oh, and I'd buy them too...how great would that be! I could make my own scenes and actually act out my own stories. LOL.

I bet if we put our heads together we could think of many more. I'll see what I can come up with. I'm glad you're resending!

Thumbs up THE E-Mail

marketing@mcfarlane.com

To Whom it may concern,
Being a huge fan of McFarland action figures, I have e-mailed a suggestion to create Happy Days Action Figures back on Nov 09, 2002. There are movies being made from older TV series that are selling and even characters from series (like Saturday Night Live) have action figures (even without any new movie releases, etc). My e-mail went unanswered and I know how busy your company must be. I would not have sent this second e-mail, but the Happy Days web site is still actively talking about it from the original post on the site back in October. We would greatly appreciate the consideration of this idea.
Sincerely,
Patrick Councilor

Included is the original post and the last post. (There are too many postings to include in this e-mail)

****

This is a petition - I am going to present this to Todd McFarland

(McFarland is famous for detail on action figures like the
Austin Powers "the Spy Who Shagged Me"
Spawn
etc)

If you would be interested in buying five inch tall action figures of the Happy Days cast, please reply here (and note the characters you would be interested in purchasing)

Fonz (with motorcycle and sunglasses)
Richie (with sax and pinball machine)
Ralph (with glasses/rubber nose, piano & booth table)
Potsie (with hamburger, soda pop bottle, microphone & booth seats)
Joanie (with microphone stand and tamberine)
Chachi (with microphone stand and guitar)
Howard (with reading glasses and Leopard Lodge Fez)
Marion (with spoon and mixing bowl)
Paula Petralunga (with purse and lipstick)
Arnold (with jukebox and chicken wing)
Al (with serving tray fully loaded)
Lousia (Chachi's mother) (with plate of spegetti & parmesian chz)
Boom Boom (with roller skates and soda bottle with straw)
Spike (with bicycle and comb)
Pinky Tuscadero (with motorcycle and hand mirror)
Leather Tuscadero (with guitar and microphone)
Lori Beth (with Richie Jr and a flower)
Officer Kirk (with ticket book and handcuffs)
Jenny (with bust developing cream and book to pick up hunks)
Ashley (with wine glasses, bottle and rose in a vase)
Heather (with bicycle and stuffed bear)
Eugene Belvin (with cup of pencils and folders for everyone)
Wendy (Arnold's waitress on skates) (order tablet & serving tray)
Marsha (Arnold's waitress)
Roger
KC
Sticks Downey
Flip
Chuck (with basketball and map to get back home)
Bag (from the Demons)
Jennifer Jerome (Potsie's girl)

Great! Good luck, I'm crossing everything! I know that all of us here would be willing to help market the figures if need be.

Wink hint hint

I've included the e-mail address to McFarland marketing in my last posting. If anyone wants to support this idea, they can e-mail them as well.

Um Pat, it might help if you used the right name when righting them, McFarlane. Not McFarland.
Not the E-Mail addy marketing@mcfarlane.com
Trust me, nothing will turn someone off a business request faster than if you don't get their name right! Just some helpful advice.
