The big mistakes made by many networks is moving a show around different time slots with notifying it audience of the change! Rating drop and then blame it on the show!

NBC News' many problems aren't just a coincidence -- they're symptoms
Matt Lauer, Brian Williams, Tom Brokaw, Joy Reid, Ronan Farrow, Hugh Hewitt -- and even the Megyn Kelly debacle -- are all symptoms of a larger problem. As Margaret Sullivan put it, "the network’s credibility is on the line. To critics it would seem that network leadership isn’t taking that seriously enough, believing perhaps that the public is mostly unaware, and that advertisers don’t mind. But a news organization’s reputation builds — or fades — over time. Does NBC really want to be seen as a place where stars are protected too vigorously, and where ratings and profits reign supreme? Given NBC’s prominence, its foibles hurt not only the network itself, its own journalists, and its viewers. Such self-sabotage also hurts American journalism overall at a time when there are more than enough external enemies waiting to pounce."

It dropped from The Voice, then Chicago Med built on it, which is a sign of NBC viewers abandoning Rise like a plague. I watched the Rise pilot and wasn't impressed, not nearly as good as Glee's first season, which itself was nowhere near the level of Fame.

Their new schedule is utter crap. Moving the Chicagos all to Wednesday is about the only move that makes sense. Thursday will continue to be DOA, and NBC continues with 'event' dramas Mondays after The Voice. A strategy that hasn't worked for them in the past.

Instead of multi-cam Abby's, NBC pairs W&G with single-cam dramedy I feel Bad. W&G was paired with single-cams all last season--IT DOESN'T WORK!

Not moving Wheel to 10:00 AM after CBS moved TPIR to 10:00. When TPIR expanded to an hour, TPIR aired at 10:30 right after Gambit the same time as Wheel. So CBS put TPIR at 10:00 and Gambit at 11:00. So by the time Wheel started viewers would be enconsed with TPIR.
