So THAT's why you were gone for so long. Sure hope you're feeling better now.

Thanks so much, Janice. Before I went in to the ER, I thought I just had a sinus infection. Then one night the pain in my back and chest was so horrific, I couldn't even sleep. It was from a significant accumulation of fluid around my lung, which had to be drained with surgeries and chest tubes.

Thanks. I'm definitely on the road to recovery, but I'm still dealing with quite a bit of pain.

One of these days I'll be healthy again. I just don't know when.

Micheal, hope your doing better.

I'm in financial purgatory right now as there's not enough money coming in and the bills are high. Very, very discouraging right now. Plus, after my mom's car had a problem with the steering wheel, yet another problem has happened with her car. The check light keeps going on. Yes, its going to be fixed but unless I find out I'm related to Donald Trump or a long lost Kardashian, how can you afford to fix it?

Sonny, I sure hope that day is sooner rather than later.

Hang in there, Buddy!

Thanks Michael and Jenny. I really appreciate it.

I haven't felt good since before my leg started hurting. That lasted for a little over 3 weeks. It got so bad I could barely walk. I actually had to use one of those carts in the stores in order to get my groceries. That's the first time I ever had to do that. No sooner did my leg start feeling better did I start to feel pain under my arm. It reminded me of what I had 10 years ago where the pain would start in my arm and then once in a while shoot into my chest. Now my heart keeps skipping beats and of course I keep getting told that thing's are okay. That's the same thing that was said a decade ago and it took 6 months for it to end that time. A couple days ago my teeth started to ache. At least that's gone now. It just feel like I'm falling apart. I did start a diet and I'm starting my walks again ( if this weather would stay good). I'll see if that helps.

Wow, what a scary story. Glad you're doing better now; keep it up!

Yes, good old modern medicine. Pretty much an assembly line process anymore, not much "bedside manner" or "old country doctors" left now. A real shame.

Good luck on the diet. Sounds like you're willing to do what it takes to get better, and that's a great start.

For some reason my sister unfriended me and blocked me on FB. I didn't say anything or do anything that would explain why. I know I shouldn't care, but it hurt when I saw that she did that tonight.

Well, no offense intended, Jenny, but cruel and heartless behavior seems to be the norm with your sister. I'm very sorry she chooses to treat you so poorly. You deserve better.

Thanks. It seems like she looks for ways to hurt me. I spent so many years when she was little babysitting her and doing things with her. I guess I'll never have a normal sister relationship with her. It's a shame. I guess at least I can say I have tried over the years.
