Have the DVD... love this movie!!! The DVD is pretty bare-bones, no bonus features (trailers, interviews, etc.) but it's reasonably priced and (aside from a few small print flaws in a couple of areas) the picture quality is really good, considering the age of the film.

I recently rented it and watched and I enjoyed it. If you are a Barbara Eden fan or a Jeannie fan, it's definitely a must see!

I recently rented this--it's the first time I've seen the movie since it hit the theaters way back when. I enjoyed it just as much this time around.

I loved this movie !!!!!!!!!!!!

The funny thing about the movie & TV show Harper Valley, the woman who had the hit song "Harper Valley PTA" Jeanie C. Reily actually hated the song. Well learned to hate it over the years as she believed the song went against her "Christian Values".

If I remember correctly not only did she refuse to see either the movie or the TV show but also stated that she had no desire to even as much as have any contact with Barbara Eden.

I read something like this years ago and seem to recall that Jeannie C. Riley only recorded the song because she was personally asked by Tom T. Hall to do it. It's also funny that a singer named Jeannie originally sang the song and Barbara Eden who starred in I Dream of Jeannie also starred in the movie.
